I am so excited to share these amazing and truly unique accessories I recently discovered.  Tanesha has created a line of monogrammed accessories called DuPretty by Tanesha that any bride can use to bring a little flair to her wedding ensemble.  But don’t limit yourself, these sparkling creations can be used as hair adornments, hat or veil pins, used on jewelry, belts, bridal bouquets, place settings, bridesmaids gifts, I could go on and on.  You are limited only by your imagination.  After speaking with Tanesha, the creator of these lovelies, and owner of Affair Hair by . . . Tenesha, I was able to get the inside scoop. Read on for the details . . .

Here’s To You:   What was your inspiration?

Tanesha: When I started this line I wanted to create something that would evoke emotion and be worn with a sense of pride and honor. Something that a bride can pass down from generation to generation. Whether it’s the initial of the name you’ll soon carry or an initial to honor a loved one.  When the smoke clears, and everyone is gone, all we have is who we are, our family and our name!

Here’s To You:   Can you tell us a little more about these little beauties?

Tanesha: They’re custom made with Swarovski crystals and the bridal collection all have Isabella Blue incorporated in them. They’re available in 1 1/2- 2 inches at the moment and can be customized with any color.  Maybe it’s your favorite color, wedding colors, birthstone or your Alma mater. Keep in mind that when I customize, it’s not just about the color but about the placement of each stone as well. So what brides are receiving is indeed “Haute Couture” all the way!

Tanesha: The basic is Isabella Blue for $60.  Anything outside of that is custom and runs:$90. Shipping is additional on all orders.

Here’s To You:   When a bride places an order, how long can she expect to wait to receive her order?

Tanesha: Currently I am able to ship all orders within 1 week anywhere in the Continental U.S.  If ordering from out of the Country please allow a little longer.

Tanesha currently lives in Charleston S.C. and travels around the state and beyond designing hair for TV, movies, photo shoots, music and of course brides! She designs for the red carpet . . . to real life!  You can see more of Tanesha’s beautiful artistry here.

I love the traditional veil, don’t get me wrong.  But I am also a sucker for girly, frilly, flirty, flowers and hair adornments that sparkle. Who can overlook the Bridal  “do”.  When thinking of your hair accessory don’t go the usual “tiara” route.  Why not showoff  your tresses with romantic flowers that are oh so subtle but yet make a statement at the same time.

No doubt your eyes will have a special sparkle on your wedding day and your grooms eyes will twinkle as he lays eyes on you for the first time, but how about a little color, sparkle and bling to top off your Bridal look.
